Story

After nearly being killed by his own son, Zeus used his godly powers to open a portal and sent Kratos into another universe. The journey was harsh, and surely would have killed an ordinary man, but kratos was no ordinary man. Luckily, he still retained some powers of a god.

Upon awakening in this new universe, Kratos found himself in a place where reality didn't seem to exist. What was real, what wasn't? There were no familiar faces, and the land was foreign. Kratos soon realized that he was far from Greece. "Is this another one of your tricks Zeus", Kratos yelled out. "You think you can decieve me again?" "I have escaped death, and I will escape this!"

After traveling for several days, Kratos found a dojo that was in very poor condition. There was a man weeping in the corner. Thinking he may be able to get some answers, Kratos confronted the man. "Where am I?" The man looked up and said "This place, this whole universe is called Mugen." Kratos then asked the man why he looked so pitiful. The man replied: "My bride to be was kidnapped by a man who I will never find. Without her, I have no hope for life..." Kratos replied: "Then let me end it for you.". And with a swing of his blade, off went the mans head. With a newfound sense of where he was, Kratos left the dojo.

Thus Kratos embarked on a new venture. He would search for anyone who might tell him how to escape this universe, and get back to his own. If they would not tell him willingly, he would force them. As weird as this place was, something felt too unnatural. Kratos noticed that the beings in this universe were unlike any he ever encountered. So powerful, so fast, yet they weren't gods or anything of the sort. It was as if they were without limits. The only thing that made sense to Kratos in this world was fighting. Everyone was fighting, and if that was the way out, then Kratos would fight, to the end!

With the blades of chaos and an array of weapons at his disposal, Kratos shouted, "Zeus, your death is coming!", and sprung into his first battle!
